A campaign to detect any turtles that might have walked across beaches in Elche to nest has been launched by city hall and the NGO Margalló Ecologistas en Acción for the second year running.
At the presentation on La Marina beach, a simulation was performed to illustrate how a nest would be protected and explain the protocol to follow if anyone should find one of these animals or their tracks.
