The prosecutor has called for a nine-month custodial sentence and a seven-year ban from public office for the mayor of Almogía. Cristóbel Torreblanca and three others are charged with town planning irregularities dating from 2007. Sr Torreblanca has denied corruption and claims he had no official knowledge of the offences being alleged against him.
