New hope for expat voters

FORMAL legal proceedings were launched in the High Court in London on Wednesday against the UK Government over its decision to exclude up to two million Britons living in the European Union from the right to vote in June’s in/out referendum.

Law firm Leigh Day is acting on behalf of 94-year-old Harry Shindler, a Second World War veteran who lives in Italy, along with many other expats – including residents in Spain.
