A 66-year-old Torremolinos man died when his caravan caught fire last Thursday. The man, who lived in a building near where the caravan was parked in La Colina, is believed to have been cleaning the van’s gas installation when the fire broke out, but the exact cause has yet to be determined. Residents reported hearing three small explosions beginning at around 6.30pm.
