The British Embassy in Madrid has published more information about ‘driving licence exchange’ for Britons who were unable to complete the procedure to acquire a Spanish licence before Brexit legislation kicked in.
Hundreds of British residents missed the deadline to trade their UK licences for a Spanish equivalent.
The Embassy said that ‘both the legal and political approvals are underway’ to allow the exchange to take place.
