Large electricity pylons, though unsightly, are currently the most used solution to meet energy demands

HOUSEHOLD electricity bills have gone up by an average of nearly 10% this year, according to minister for energy Álvaro Nadal.
Sr Nadal made the revelation when answering questions in a parliamentary commission on Wednesday.
According to the minister, the average consumer will pay €835 for the whole of 2017, which is €76 more than last year.
