THE SPANISH government is bidding to ensure that British pensioners living in the country can continue to have their healthcare costs paid by the UK.
Acting foreign minister José Manuel García-Margallo told a meeting in Alicante: “We have to secure an agreement whereby residents can receive healthcare in Spain, with the tab picked up by Britain.”
