Cartagena to ‘open up’ to the sea

Cartagena city hall has presented a €28.8 million project to redevelop the popular harbour area – which is the entrance from the sea to the historic city centre.

The port authority had opened a competition for architects to present plans for a 243,000-square-metre zone.
