LAS ROZAS (MADRID), 18/07/2017.- Agentes de la Guardia Civil custodian el acceso principal de la sede de la Federación Española de Fútbol, en la localidad madrileña de Las Rozas, donde se están produciendo registros en el marco de una operación anticorrupción ordenada por la Audiencia Nacional en la que ha sido detenido el presidente de la institución, Ángel María Villar. Además de Villar, las fuentes apuntan que ha sido detenido su hijo Gorka, así como Juan Padrón, vicepresidente económico de la federación, en un operativo en el que se esperan una decena de arrestos. Los delitos por los que han sido detenidos son administración desleal, apropiación indebida, corrupción entre particulares y falsedad documental, todo ello en relación con la organización de partidos internacionales.
