Eight suspects have been arrested – ‘several of them Britons’ – in a sting against smugglers who were running cocaine from Caribbean islands to Spain in a competition yacht valued at more than €1 million.
They travelled frequently between Britain, Alicante, Málaga and the Caribbean – and the UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) helped Spain’s National Police with the investigation.
