RAIN in Benidorm today (Thursday) morning did not stop play for thousands of Britons who enjoyed the traditional Fancy Dress Party along Calles Mallorca and Gerona at the end of the local fiestas. However, rain did cause the cancellation of the giant paella and the fancy dress float parade.
The official fiesta ended yesterday with the colourful parade down Calle Ruzafa and Avenida Mediterraneo and a spectacular 24-minute fireworks display over the harbour.
