The Valencia government has vowed to build 10,000 social homes in the region.
According to regional president Carlos Mazón, they will not reclassify any more land to carry out the initiative, as the properties will be constructed on public land already earmarked for building in Town Plans (PGOU).
It will allow properties to be offered for rent at affordable prices.
