This year’s flood prevention campaign has been launched by the Valencia government.
The emergency coordination centre has sent reminders to town halls that they must revise their operational procedures for dealing with this risk.
A significant part of the campaign consists of reminding local authorities that they are required to have action and response procedures for flooding, as some town halls do not yet have the obligatory plans in place.
