Coral reefs along the Costa Blanca are at serious risk due to climate change, according to scientific research from the ministry for ecological transition and the regional institute for coastal ecology.
The study aimed to find out how the rise in sea temperature is affecting marine ecosystems in the Mediterranean between Calpe and Santa Pola.
