Police advice over rogue injections


Local police have issued advice following a wave of unwanted ‘injections’ via syringes at nightspots.

A total of 22 complaints have been made in the north of Alicante province so far this summer, with the scourge affecting the whole of Spain.

Villajoyosa police noted that some young people are being injected with a quick acting substance to render them unable to defend themselves from sexual abuse or theft.
