Mini mussels now farmed in Santa Pola

A Mediterranean mussel farmed under specific conditions in Valencia port – named the ‘clóchina’ – is from this year also being produced in Santa Pola, where the salinity of the sea is practically equal.

The bivalve molluscs are rich in vitamins, calcium, iron, potassium, phosphorous, magnesium and Omega 3.
