A 67-year-old woman was injured on Albir beach when a wild boar emerged from the sea and bit her on the leg.
Bathers were alerted by shouting and whistles being blown from a dingy and fishing boat that were following the boar which was swimming in the sea, warning people to get out of the way – but the woman who was sitting on the shore was not able to move fast enough.
