THE SAGA over the closure of Tiki Beach, on the Levante front continues. Despite UK tabloids declaring that “Benidorm’s famous Tiki beach Bar is closed forever” at the beginning of this week, it remains very much open, despite a Supreme Court ruling two months ago that it must close.
Now one of the witnesses from the Santa Margarita building, directly above the bar is being taken to court over a false statement and prosecutors are asking for a custodial sentence to be handed down after they falsely accused a judge and her partner – who is the owner of the establishment of involvement in an undisclosed incidence back in May 2014 relating to the bar.
