FOLLOWING last week’s prestigious Costa Blanca Bike Race, residents in La Cala have been left appalled at scenes they witnessed from the cyclists.
The last stage of the race set off from La Cala on Sunday morning and residents from two building along the promenade have expressed their outrage and disgust that due to lack of amenities from the organisers, competitors were seen urinating on the beach!
However, the lack of facilities along all of Benidorm’s beaches has been an issue for many years and the council comes under criticism every summer.
