The ‘renewal and extension’ of the CCTV system in Altea is taking place in stages, according to the town hall.
The cameras are being used to improve the flow and regulation of traffic – and to clamp down on fly-tipping.
Councillor for security, Miguel de la Hoz said: “The project has not finished and we are working on the installation of more cameras.”
