WEATHER experts have warned that if climate change continues at the current rate, then the Costa Blanca will be in for five-month-long summers.
Jorge Olcina, head of Alicante university climatology department, spoke of the challenges which lie ahead for south-east Spain and warned of prolonged droughts in the coming years if nothing is done to fight CO2 emissions.
