Calpe will allow access to its beaches for leisure from this Monday (June 1). No specific markings have been set up for social distancing but patrols will be in place to ensure this is followed. A marker has been set estabishing a six-metre-wide stretch for walking along the shore and sunbathers will not be allowed to place their towels within it. Morelló and Calalga coves will remain closed.

  1. Lovely to read of Calpe beaches opening up again.
My Grandparents retired to this beautiful little fishing village as it was back in 1973.
So, I remember with fond memories the 15 years of annual holidays I spent in Calpe.
    Miss it so much.
