Minister for the ecological transition Teresa Ribera has vowed that electricity bills could come down by as much as 30% – starting next month.
She made the statement after hearing that the European Commission (EC) has given the green light for Spain and Portugal to cap the price of gas, which will have a knock-on effect for the wholesale price of electricity.
