AN END to Spain’s 10-month political hiatus may be in sight following the resignation of the country’s socialist PSOE party leader on Saturday. Pedro Sánchez stood down after losing a vote of confidence at a specially convened meeting of the party’s 290-member Federal Committee in Madrid.
