Latest case sparks removal of current PP councillor from Mancomunidad post

TORREMOLINOS town hall announced last week that worker lawsuits over wrongful dismissal, discrimination against union members or workplace harassment, all during previous administrations, will end up costing the municipal coffers more than €1 million.

Officials cited some 15 lawsuits from the years 2001 to 2015, taking in several Partido Popular administrations, all led by the then mayor, Pedro Fernández Montes.
