Police are investigating the possibility that a new route trafficking illegal immigrants between Spain and the UK has been established. In separate incidents last weekend, two lorries stopped on the north-eastern A-23 in Teruel were found to be carrying a total of six adult Iraqi Kurds and eight children. The 37-year-old Romanian driver of one of the vehicles has been detained.
