Work on turning a Los Boliches street into a pedestrian-only avenue began on Monday. Fuengirola town hall said that the €141,524 project to pedestrianise Calle Juan Breva, between Calle Maestra Concepción Guidet and Calle Rita Luna, will be finished by the end of the month. Councillor José Sánchez said the pedestrian-only scheme was backed by locals at a resident’s meeting to discuss the street, held earlier this year.
