Alhaurín de la Torre town hall announced last week that it has converted the pools at the indoor municipal aquatic centre from a chemical chlorination system to a salt-water system that produces its own chlorine. The new system, which officials say reduces problems with allergies and eye irritation, was installed in both the swimming and spa pools at the centre.
