Nine men arrested in Málaga are suspected of belonging to a criminal gang which collected debts through violence. The group is also thought to have exercised extortion, fraud and theft. A police investigation opened late last year after a victim reported that a group of people were threatening, harassing and intimidating him physically and verbally to collect a debt which he owed to another person.
