Home robberies in Málaga province increased by 26.2% in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year, jumping from 920 to 1,161, according to Interior Ministry data. The number of reported rapes also surged, doubling from six to 12, and drug-trafficking offences rose 24.1% to 216. Overall, crime in the province was up by 5.9%, with a total of 18,366 offences.
