Málaga has won its case against an insurer which blamed a lack of municipal care after a woman was injured and a car damaged by a falling tree branch. The court ruled the incident in 2014 was an unavoidable accident for which the city was not responsible. The insurer was ordered to pay the woman €8,000 in compensation and the car owner €1,760 for repairs.
