The Guardia Civil say they have arrested a man for profaning tombs in Almoradí cemetery.
The suspect was detained for burgling the premises several times and officers recovered numerous stolen objects form a local scrapyard.
The thief had stolen metal objects, caused damage to a burial niche and took two rosaries from a vault, even rummaging through the bones inside it.
