Although the skies are clearing over Alicante, the province remains on alert for heavy rain and snow in high mountain areas.
In the south of the province the alert ends at noon today. However, for the north coast the alert runs until Sunday, where wind speeds could reach up 100km/h.
AEMET is also warning of heavy seas, with waves of between four and six metres possible off the north coast of the province.
