The Hortensia Herrero foundation has loaned Benidorm town hall two giant sculptures – ‘Silvia’ and ‘María’ by the artist Jaume Plensa – which have been located at Plaza Santa Ana at the top of the Old Town.
The seven-metre-high pieces took several days to assemble, as they weigh more than seven tons.
