Unemployment down

The unemployment rate in Spain has fallen below 20% for the first time in six years. Government figures for the third quarter show that over 226,000 temporary summer jobs brought the total down to 18.91%. The government points out that, as well as rising job creation, there has been a decrease in workers being laid off.
