THOUSANDS of people turned out on Saturday for Torremolinos’s gay pride parade, the central event of a four-day festival that filled the town’s streets with music, dancing and bright rainbow flags.
The town hall estimated that some 8,000 people participated in the parade alone, which featured carriages and four large flat-bed lorries teaming with revellers and blaring music as they made their way from the town hall to Plaza de la Nogalera.
