Over 4,500 people took part in the tenth annual ‘Walk against Cancer” in La Nucia last Sunday morning, a thousand more than last year!
The event was organized by the local branch of the AECC – the National Spanish cancer charity in collaboration with Anémona, a self-help group for women with breast cancer. A raffle also took place at the end, with 113 local businesses donating a total of 220 prizes and all money raised, which came to an incredible €6,968 will be split between the two cancer charities.
