MOVISTAR has confirmed it will abolish roaming charges in a fortnight, meaning that customers travelling to any other EU member state will have no roaming charges applied while making phone calls, texting or surfing online with their mobile phone or other device using their home country’s SIM card.

Vodafone, Orange and other operators have already made moves towards the deadline of June 15 set by the European Commission.
