TWO well-known Costa mayors in towns with large expat populations will not be standing for reelection in the May local elections.
Calpe mayor César Sánchez had already said several months ago he would not stand and this week, the electoral committee of the Partido Popular (PP) of Calpe announced that they have elected Ana Sala as their new candidate for the position of Mayor.
The current mayor of Teulada-Moraira, Carlos Linares, has also communicated his decision not to repeat as candidate for mayor of Teulada-Moraira.
