RESTORATION and conservation work at Marbella’s Turtle Lake (Lago de las Tortugas) has been named by local residents as the top budget priority in a vote that was held to determine how to spend a total of €2 million in next year’s municipal budget.
Over a four-day period in late November and early December local people were invited to vote on a series of proposals that had been submitted by the public and vetted by the town hall for viability. They could select a variety of projects in different districts of the town.
