The Lago de las Tortugas topped the list of residents' priorities for budget spending

RESTORATION and conservation work at Marbella’s Turtle Lake (Lago de las Tortugas) has been named by local residents as the top budget priority in a vote that was held to determine how to spend a total of €2 million in next year’s municipal budget.

Over a four-day period in late November and early December local people were invited to vote on a series of proposals that had been submitted by the public and vetted by the town hall for viability. They could select a variety of projects in different districts of the town.
