A MAN claiming to be the son of Julio Iglesias filed a paternity suit against the singer in Valencia on Monday. Javier Sánchez Santos, aged 41, says DNA tests prove that Iglesias is his father.
A ballerina from Portugal, Maria Edite, launched a suit against Iglesias in 1992 but it was eventually dismissed on a formality. Edite is Santos’ mother and claims that her son’s birth followed her brief affair with the singer in the 70s when he was married to socialite Isabel Preysler.
