A DRIVER and a motorcycle rider are both facing charges for criminal traffic offences after being clocked at well over 200 kph, in two separate incidents on Costa motorways.

In Marbella last week a 37-year-old French man was pulled over after he was caught on radar while driving an Audi RS 3 at 228 kph on the AP-7 toll motorway. Guardia Civil officers clocked him at 3.45pm on Tuesday at kilometre 196.5 in the eastbound lanes, where the speed limit is 120 kph, said Guardia officials.
