FUENGIROLA town hall has kicked off the new year with the launch of five public works projects valued at a total of over €1.5 million, including upgrades to local streets and a major facelift for the plaza outside the bus station. Work on all five got underway on Monday.
The biggest-budget project is a €635,000 remodel of Calle Jacinto Benavente, one of the main roads connecting the town centre to the Paseo Marítimo. In addition to resurfacing, the layout of roads and pavements will be modified and the central reserve removed.
