THE Marbella International Film Festival, which launches today, features over two dozen feature films, shorts and documentaries, including red-carpet premiere screenings of two UK films. In all, 11 of the films are in English and those in other languages have English subtitles. Most of the films are being shown twice during the five-day event.
The festival runs until this Sunday, October 2, with multiple screenings each day at the Teatro Goya in Puerto Banús. Friday at 5pm is the red-carpet premiere of the British movie London Heist, a revenge thriller “set around Spain’s glamorous Marbella and London’s dark underworld,” according to the festival website.
