THE PSOE party in Málaga province has called on the central government to take action to reduce the frequent tailbacks on various stretches of the A-7 motorway on the Costa del Sol.

The PSOE MP for Málaga, Miguel Ángel Heredia, has presented “a battery” of initiatives in Congress, the lower house of the Spanish parliament, calling for solutions to the problem, said the party. Sr Heredia said the situation, which is particularly acute in the summer, affects “thousands of drivers every day and damages our tourism image”.
