Guardia Civil and customs have impounded 20,231 bottles of alcoholic beverages.
Officers in Barcelona provided information which implicated a distillery based in Alicante province’s Marina Alta area.
An investigation discovered various irregularities, including bottles of drink without the required tax labels.
