ALICANTE-Elche airport is on track for another record year as figures for the first half of 2016 indicate a huge increase in passengers.
Although national airports AENA will not release the January to June figures until next week, sources in the statistics department have indicated that the forecast for this year is that Alicante-Elche will reach 12 million passengers in December.
