UK compensation culture slammed by hoteliers

Industry association says it will take action on what it calls spurious claims by hotel guests encouraged by 'vulture lawyers'

In some cases vehicles with signs in English encourage holiday makers to file claims

AN ASSOCIATION of Spanish hoteliers says it will not sit by idly while British tourists lodge a barrage of false complaints against Spanish hotels. It says that in just three months this year, one if its members faced 200 claims from UK law firms, compared with a total of 15 received by some operators in the whole of 2015.
