TOURISTS on the Costa this summer – as well as locals – have a chance to peek into the past and see just how Spain became the modern-day tourism powerhouse it is today, thanks to a free exhibition now on at the Torremolinos Palacio de Congresos.
The show, titled ‘España para Usted: Anuncios para un Despegue Turístico’ (‘Spain for You: Advertisements for a Touristic Takeoff)’ explores the history of tourism in Spain, focusing on the promotional campaigns carried out since the 1950s.
