A new case of the transmission of the Zika virus through sexual contact has been diagnosed in Spain. The new patient in Madrid, where the mosquito which carries the virus has not been detected, brings the total in the country to 193, of whom 26 are pregnant women. The majority of infections have followed visits to countries where the mosquito is active.
